Who we are
AutoStack Research ("AutoStack", "we", "us") is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and builds environments for training and testing AI agents. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions, requests and complaints go to our privacy contact at riya@autostack.ca.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal information we collect through autostack.ca, when you contact us, request an evaluation or send a brief, and when we run an engagement with your organisation. It does not cover the websites or services of other companies that we link to.
Information you give us
When you email us, fill in a form on the site (an evaluation request, a brief or a waitlist), we collect what you choose to share: typically your name, work email, organisation, role and what you tell us about your agent or workflow. Please don't send us personal information about other people or confidential material before an engagement is agreed.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver and protect the site. We measure page speed with Vercel Speed Insights, which is cookieless and does not identify you. The site does not set cookies, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies or sell your information.
How we use it
To reply to you, schedule and prepare for calls, scope and run engagements, send information you asked for, keep the site secure, understand which pages are useful, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
Consent
We collect, use and disclose personal information with your consent, which may be express or implied by your inquiry, or as permitted or required by law. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing riya@autostack.ca, subject to legal or contractual limits; withdrawing may mean we can't respond to a request.
Email and CASL
We send commercial email only with your consent or where Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation allows it, for example within six months of your inquiry. Every message identifies us and includes a way to unsubscribe, which we honour promptly.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers: Vercel (website hosting and page-speed measurement), Resend (delivers the forms you submit on the site to our inbox) and Google Workspace (our email). Forms are sent over an encrypted connection and are not stored on the website itself. Providers may only use your information to provide services to us and must protect it. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger, financing or sale of our business, subject to this policy. We do not sell personal information.
Where it is stored
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. While there, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Inquiry records are deleted on request or when no longer needed. Agent traces from an engagement are used only for that evaluation and deleted when it ends, unless your agreement says otherwise.
How we protect it
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask how it has been used and disclosed, by emailing riya@autostack.ca. We will respond within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Visitors outside Canada
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information to respond to you and to run engagements you ask about (steps at your request and our legitimate interests), or with your consent where we ask for it. You can ask to access, correct, delete or export it, object to or restrict its use, or withdraw consent, by emailing riya@autostack.ca, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
